Parrillo Athlete Spotlight: Jared Haggitt

“My name is Jared Haggit and I am a 19 year old college student. I currently attend the University of Cincinnati where I play club soccer. My story begins about 3 years ago. I was a sophomore in high school and was skinny and short. I have played soccer my entire life so I was always in pretty good shape aerobically. I lacked any muscular size that would even closely resemble a bodybuilder. At that time, I would eat huge meals full of refined foods, pizza, etc. Just about everything that was bad for you, I would eat in huge quantities. It would not be a stretch for me to have two big meals a day, and that’s it! And when I felt I was gaining any weight, my weight loss solution was to not eat that much for a couple of days.

The turning point of my story came when my father, who was an amateur bodybuilder in the 80’s and long time user, believer of Parrillo advice and products, introduced me to weight training. At the time that my weight training began, I was 5’ 9” weighing about 145lbs. My father, Greg Haggit, taught me the correct techniques of almost every exercise that ranged from lateral raises to barbell rows. This was very good for me because without him, I would have never gotten to where I am today. After about a month of training under his supervision, I saw results and I was hooked. The good thing was that when I went searching for more advice my dad had all his old Parrillo Performance Press issues. So as soon as I started lifting, I had Parrillo as guidance, which helped me tremendously. In 2.5 years, I went from 145lbs to 180lbs. The great thing is that I never exceeded 9% body fat percentile due to Parrillo techniques in which you can gain muscle and stay lean simultaneously.”

A Look At Her Amazing Weight Loss Transformation

“What inspired me to become a bodybuilder? An episode of the short lived FOX show “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr” which guest starred Cory Everson as a blacksmith.  I thought to myself “Wow! She’s beautiful and powerful and so confident! I wanna look like that someday!”. But it would be at least another 10 years before I competed at a college bodybuilding show in

Personal Trainers – Cincinnati, OH – Parrillo Performance

Hi everyone this is Nate from the Parrillo Performance Training Center and I would like to spotlight one of the couples that train out here with me a few times a week.  The couple I’m talking about is Vince and Jamie, two local Cincinnati business owners that joined with us exclusively for our personal training services and here is what they have been doing so far.
Vince and Jamie came to us because they wanted to take their workouts to a new level, and push past the current plateaus in the gym.  I could tell that right of the bat that they were in decent shape and were serious about the new commitment they made.  The first couple workouts were more of a lesson than a full blown workout.  I wanted to see how they performed certain exercises and show them some new exercises.  So I did, and after about two weeks they started to get used to the Parrillo way and they started to learn more about our techniques and why they are the most effective for the body.

Sooner than later they started to add lean mass while losing body fat.  Fast forward to now, and you can catch them in the training center lifting weights with proper form and following out their newly revised, more intense cardio programs to aid in the fight against body fat and to promote better health.

Tracy Taylor Success Story

June 8, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

I started as a Parrillo customer in 1995-1996 when I trained on the East Coast with Todd Swinney and did my first ever amateur body building, Then life took a turn and moved me to Arizona, got married and had my son. Even with my son turning 6 I was still making excuses for the weight I had put on along with my age. However, finally at age 42 I decided no more excuses called Parrillo to get stocked up on all my favorite supplements and stared my journey for my first ever Ms. Figure contest with my trainer here in Arizona Scott Keppel of Scott Training Systems. He proved that at any age you can be fit and helped me prepare for my Ms. Figure contest March 2010. The attached photos say it all and now July 24th will be my second Ms. Figure contest as I truly strive to be the best I can as a single 42 year old full time working Mom.

P.S. Love your magazine Performance Press read it cover to cover!
