As a 77 year old, I like to workout mid-morning, but not after a meal. So I use Parrillo Pro-Carb for an energy boost that metabolizes faster than solid food. Occasionally I’ll add a tablespoon of Captri if I’m doing a particularly strenuous workout. I use Pro-Carb rather than other pre-workout drinks because they are mostly caffeine boosts and I try to limit caffeine due to its effect on my heart rhythms. I’ve used it and other Parrillo products over the years, and I like their ingredients and tastes above others. I also feel more comfortable that I’m ingesting safer ingredients than supplements.
